Default auto train, east/west?

There is a auto train that travels north/south on the east coast, is there one that travels east/west? Maybe from pa. ohio to say colorado, nevada? Had plans to trailer several bikes out west to colorado then ride for a week or so then trailer them back. Truck broke down and time is limited. To ride out and back would take away from sight seeing. Like I said time is limited, is there a train that will carry the bikes and us that travels out west? June 12 was our tenative start date. Any thoughts?

Unfortunately the only auto train is from Lorton, Va to Florida.

A couple weeks ago we were researching prices and motorcyle fees (we only live about 15minutes from Lorton), and found out it was the only route the Auto train runs......we were hoping for some alternative destinations as well. Great way to get your bike to a destination for the ride back.

For the price you'd pay I would think it would be much cheaper and more fun to just do the ride.

You should check out chorbe's ride posts in "rides and events" section. When time is limited you can ship the bike by truck, then fly out and meet it. I think the shipping was about 650 per bike basically from ocean to ocean.
