I just yesterday ordered an '85-'86 Manual from eBay for 25 bucks. I have an '85 with an '86 engine. VT 1100C -- just got it and have no previous motorcycle repair experience, so You will likely be hearing from me on this forum. FYI, there is a Clymer '85-'96 manual on eBay right now --jst checked-- for 28$. It's here if You are interested:

basically, the 85-86 engine is a bit bigger, with 5-sp tranny. 87-90 had 4-spd tranny.
I have a Honda Shop Manual for 85-86 VT 1100C Shadow. It doesn't really show routing on electrical or hoses, ect.. I had to flip through sections to look at the diagrams and figure out the routing on my 86. |
