Silly question, but is it posible to re-chrome aftermarket pipes?

I love the look of my Cobra Fishtails, but after barely a year of use, I noticed they're starting to rust! This doesn't look like something just on the outside of the pipes either.

So, is it possible to get it refinished? Or is it even worth the expense?
