Did you get your Pamphlets yet? Last week we ordered a few more and received them today
We are also looking into the North shore side.

In the Gaspe for the young lad, there is a Submarine museum where they actually let you tour the inside.... way cool he is 10 and should love this.
It's also near where all the gardens are for Tease she has trees planted all over ower farm.

The pamphlets have arrived, thanks for the link. The tourism bureau did a very nice job putting together a package that included just about everything.

My next step is to plot an itinerary so I can reserve some accommodations, the plan is to ride the loop of the peninsula.

Thanks again, maybe see you there.

Ride safe.

We have decided to go the last week of June.
From what I am hearing it can still get cold over there in summertime so pack a sweater.

The last week of June, you say? It'll be here soon, oh boy! We plan to leave the first of July ourselves.

I have been checking the Gaspe weather reports and it doesn't seem like there will be any heat waves passing through there soon. (My wife says that if it looks like a week of rain is expected during our visit there, we could take the car instead of the bike, gulp!).

So, are you all set for your trip? Bike all set? Maps? GPS? Camera/charger? Rain gear? How long will you be on the peninsula?

Have a great time, take a lot of photos.

Ride safe!

Well rain does bite the big one, I don't mind riding into the rain. It's when you start your day in the rain it can take some motivation to get going.

Quebec City first then we should be in the peninsula by Friday for 3 or 4 days.
Will pack on the weekend, only one motel booked (city) the rest of the trip will be in a tent.
Keep your eye out for a yellow Goldwing ("living the dream" on the trunk )

We plan to be in Quebec city for Friday night and then off to tour the peninsula after that. Will spend 2 nights at Forillion Park and then ride the coast toward New Brunswick and US route 1.

If I do see the yellow Dream Wing, I'll more than wave, I'll buy you lunch. (If I am late, start without me!)

Have a great time, I wanna hear all about it after you return.

Ride safe!
