At the bike show in toronto I saw a design for a conversion kit that would allow you to add rails to a boat trailer (ours holds an 18-19 footer) so that you can tow 2 bikes.
Has anyone seen or made something similar? If the bikes are of different weights do you think there would be a problem?

That sounds like a great idea.
I can't see weight difference being a major problem. What are your bikes? 450 lb and 650lb? Load the heavier bike on the Left (Drivers) side. The crown of the road will be less of an issue that way.

Thanks for the feedback.
My bike is the 750 ACE and my wife rides a maxi scooter so her bike is about 100lbs less. It has also been suggested that I put them one behind the other if the trailer is long enough.
