A friend of mine (sportster rider) told me about a kit harley makes to turn an 883 into a 1200 and its relatively cheap. I have not been able to find anything like that for the shadows.

This all came about because I bought the bike thinking that the wife wouldn't ride much and now she is really getting into the riding. Two up works on the bike but it does seem to lose quite a bit of pep.

Also, for those guys that have similar bike with all the mods... how much of a difference do the mods make on a 2-up situation? I only have modified stock exhaust, original jets, and stock filter. I plan on pulling the main jets and swapping them for larger ones next week when the UNI filter shows up. (hopefully that helps some)

Thanks for any advice!
My suggestion is either get the wife a motorcycle to ride or if she just wants to be a passenger then get at least an 1100 or bigger ride, the larger probably would be more comfortable for both but still quite dooable with and 1100 at least.

You will not get much if any with the mods you are talking about, so don't waste your $$$$$'s.
