Default Eastern Solstice Meetup

We are about a month away from the date we have been working with, 24 Jun. How many people are in and where are we going to have it? Is Fisherville still an option?

So far as I know Barry, nothing has been decided as to a meeting place. I hope the 24th is still on because I've structured my vacation around that date. Somewhere around Fisherville is tradititonal.

The 24th is the week before I leave on my cross country trip so it can't be much later or I won't be able to make it.

I'm up for it. I can find a place to meet where Paulie will have to go through at least 40 stoplights to get there.

I may be able to attend. I have to check with "The Boss" first.

CONFIRMED. Date, location and my participation, anyway. Warning: Based on the latest permutations, Paulie and I just might be arriving early this year. (Unless, of course, we get delayed by the 147 traffic lights in Fishersville.) We will, of course, make amends by staying late.

For those interested in extending the ride, here's some info on what Paulie and I have "brewing" -- all of it subject to change without notice:
o My Thursday route will bring me through Zanesville then OH555 -- reputedly the best motorcycle road in Ohio. I should be getting to Parkersburg, WV around 4 PM then Elkins, WV around 6:30 PM.

o Paulie and I will be meeting at the Graceland Inn where we will drink VO on the rocks and maybe oogle a few co-eds.

o After the MeetUp, Paulie and I will head down the BRP towards the scheduled venue for October's ECR, the Switzerland Inn. No idea where we'll spend Friday night; we'll find something (tent-free) on the way.

Anyone interested in joining either or both of us for any portion of that is certainly welcome to do so. One condition, though, the limit on the number of a**holes participating is 2; Paulie and I use those spots so...

If you're taking 250 into Staunton, take this way: Elkins, WV to Mossy Creek Cafe - Google Maps

It will avoid about 50 lights in Staunton.
