83-85 crash bars vt700c

could someone with factory crash bars on an 83-85 vt700c post some pics of how and where they mount? they seem to be impossible to find, so i might try to have some made but im not sure how or where they mount. maybe a close up pic from each side and a pic showing the shape of it. no real hurry, we have bout 6" of snow sub-zero wind chills
thanks

Here are some pictures of the crash bars on my 84 VT700c, these are not your ordinary loop with a center mount crash bars, these are multi-bend welded together bars.

This one was taken after the restoration.

They are rare to find, eBay is about the only place you are going to find them anymore and they don't show up on there very often.

Good luck finding the bars. I searched for a year - almost daily on Kijiji and Ebay. Ended up putting Kuryukan longhorn pegs directly on the frame: Longhorn Arm with ISO-Pegs | Küryakyn

I saw other 86 700C's with a Highway bar, but could never find them. I did have the same HONDA pegs on my Nighthawk and liked them a lot!

Excellent find. Thanks for the compliment on the bike. If the bike was a bit more sideway, you would notice my bags are backwards too! As soon as I get it from the back to the front of the garage, i will post pick of the pegs . . .
