Default shadow spirit 1100/MC enterprises pegs

I've had some trouble installing mc enterprises highway pegs on my 2007 spirit 1100, seems like the motor mount isn't lining up just right with the bolt, but only on the subframe side. I know theres a upper motor mount. I've read some things online where people think their motor has dropped during installation, including a service tech at mc enterprises who could not even picture what bike I had. I did talk with a honda service manager who said he thought that was not the case and that this was normal because you only remove one motor mount bolt and that bolt has alot of wieght and pressure on it, along with a solid mount above it, I was able to reinstall the motor mount bolt after prying up and forward (about 2 o'clock)on the spacer on only the subframe side(right side of engine)and taping it through. I guess I would like anyones thoughts and feedback. Thanks.
