Default 01 sabre 1100 cutting out high rpm's

i just got my dynojet stage 1 kit installed...has vance and hines longshots...runs perfect but cutting out at really high rpm's...kinda sounds like a rev limiter, but wont go above 85-90 mph...anyone know what this could be?? idle/fuel screw is set at 3 1/2 turns, i have dynojet kit installed and i installed bigger pilot jets, went up 2 sizes to 48's...i had decel popping bad...but no pop at all now...any ideas??

Thanks

+1 on the K&N. Not sure about Dyno's kit but V&H's give's you two sizes of main jets to use depending on if you are using baffels or not. You dont have to change the pilot jets. And they suggest use have your carbs sync'd after you rejet.

Try your stock main jets. Sounds like it might be running too rich on the main circuit.

I have an 05 Sabre that I just rejetted. I went with 170/175 for the mains and I also installed 48's for the slows. I put in a K&N air filter. The bike has V&N Long Shots with baffles installed. I think my mixture screws are set around 1-1/2 to 2 turns out. I would check the carb syncing. How are your spark plugs?
