Default Seat Mod on my 83 750

Well I finally finished my seat mod. I followed in the footsteps of what Eric S did here
83 Shadow 750 Seat Modification
Mine turned out to be a much larger back seat area, but what are you gonna do? I still have to do some touch up painting and I'm going to get new turn signals. They look kind of goofy right now, but it's all I could come up with, with what I had on hand.

It went from this...

To this...

And finally to this...

Thanks, due to the "comments" I've received I gave it some more thought and realized I could have them point down instead of up. Doesn't look as silly. I'll post new pics tomorrow.

Post a pic of them down, just to see what it would look like.

Ok, here are the pics with the lights turned down. I'm actually getting my new turn signals today so they won't stay like this for long.

yea, looks okay 'cept for those rear turn siggys. They look pretty goofy. But they serve the purpose until you can get it the way you want it, huh?

yeah, i tried riding around with them off and I just didn't feel comfortable not having any turn signals. I've only been riding for a few weeks now. But, the new ones come today, and my higway pegs tomorrow. I'm also going to try and redo the foam on the seat again. I'll get some better foam and try and make it very thin so that I sit lower. I also started taking the stock mufflers off. I will try running like that for a while and see about getting some cheap mufflers to add so that it has a louder sound. I don't want to pi$$ off the neighbors, but i would like to have some sound to them. I rode by my house's open windows when i first got it and asked my wife "Did you hear me ride by?" She said "Nope". I even got on the gas too!
