Default Loose hoses under the bike?

Hey guys and gals, my wife just bought herself a 2004 Shadow Aero. Shes loving learning to ride, and the bike runs fine so far, but I noticed two small hoses hanging under the engine, next to the kick-stand. One of them drips gas when shes stopped, cant really tell if it does when she goes. Ive looked in the manual and tried searching the internet, but I am computer-retarded and have had no luck putting my mind to ease. Are these hoses supposed to be there? My Phantom is FI, and i dont see any hoses there, so is it carb related? Thanks for any help.

Is the tank really full? If so it could be overflow/drain...Could be, I know had the same happen on Breide's ride, I had just topped it off and it was really full. Post pics of both bikes, hoses too. I am new to bikes myself, I was told it was the overflow, so if it's wrong it wasn't me.

It may be the gas tank vent hose, which would be normal if the tank is full.

ON a Vt1100 Spirit One hose is from the airbox the other is from the tank breather this can leak if you over fill, thinking may be the same on the aero

Heres a pic of said hose. Sorry about the very low quality, im not a photographer of any sort. theres two hoses, less than half-inch in diameter, hanging inside the frame, next to the kick-stand. I think one of them is dripping oil maybe? Is that possible? I did JUST fill the tank, so tank-breather makes sense.

The one with oil is probably the crankcase condensate vent. and the other is likely your tank vent.

Also there might be another in there somewhere (about 1/8") that comes from your battery for a batt vent. (Note this only applies to a non sealed non agm batt)
