No tips hein? Well, I guess I'll do it the hard way then: trial and error. Worked for almost all the project and learned a lot in the process.

I don't know if you noticed but this bike has no lateral reflectors. I'm talking about the red reflectors on the side of the seats and the radiator. That's the way it came from factory. I have a couple of reflectors that got from eBay but I didn't like to see them there. And I also dislike the orange color of the blinkers. I was thinking on replacing them with clear lenses and orange bulbs.
I found this kit on the net that has two lenses and single filament bulbs from K&S:

However, K&S doesn't sell directly to the final costumer. Any ideas where to find it?

Do you have a local MC dealer? Many dealers can order from a variety of aftermarket catalogs - at least here in the states.

I've found them!!! Thanks for the tip.
So I think that next week I'll have all the items to finish everything and to declare the project finished.
Then it's a photo session and a movie and that's it.

Looks like the new steering tree bearings are in the mail office and they will be picked up tomorrow (Monday).
So today I disassembled the front part to get the old bearings a racers out.
It all went well so everything is ready for the "grand finale".

Here are some photos of the disassembling process:

Hanging from the ceiling

Front fork bridge removed

Mud guard removed

Horns removed

Calipers removed

Front end removed

Head light out of the way

Upper race removed

Lower race removed

Race removed from the T

Lower bearing ready to be mesured

Since the left fork started a leak, in spite of th e new seal, I'm replacing that seal too. There is a small hole caused by corrosion on the fork upper tube that I will smooth its edges out will a Dremel to see if that doesn't happen again.

The lower bearing must be measured to determine how many and which spacers to use on the new bearing. They are part of the kit.

I'll try to make a movie of the whole process for those who may be interested in doing this mod in the future.

So log in tomorrow and check what happened.
