![]() As mentioned before, the replacement of the regular steering stem bearings was a great success. I've documented the whole process with a video that I'm posting below. This new bearings are a major improvement on the original handling characteristic of the bike and completely solved my problem as mentioned in previous posts. The handling is now very vivid and crisp, and I can take my hands of the handle bars and steer it by balancing my body left and right, just like a bicycle. I totally recommend installing this bearings instead of the original small ball that fall all over the place when you pull the stem out. It's a very easy process that even I, a complete n00b could do it. There are no modifications required to the original kit. So next time you disassemble the steering stem, "get a set" of All Balls (All Balls All Balls Racing). Here is the video. It's 15 minutes, so a bit extensive, and my English is sometimes nearing the "horrible". So if you need any further comments on it just let me know.

I also replaced the left fork seal with the All Balls seal that I ordered with the bearing kit. It seems like it's ok now.
So today the weather is very nice and I will make the photo session of my bike. |

If you want to check all the photos in a compilation, I made a video that lasts about 5 minutes, where each photo flash for 1/2 second. Just click in the HD format to see all the photos in full screen.

My brother hasn't seen the finished bike yet. He's in Luanda, Angola, at the present time and will only see it in a couple of weeks. But he saw the pics and was amazed with the result. Technically it's still his bike, since all the documents are in his name. Good thing we are a tight family... Anyway, he has another bike to restore, which I will help him with. It's a Honda CD175 K0 from the 60s, which I hope will end up somewhat like this (not this one):
