going up one size on the pilot jet will take care of the decel poping, adjusting the screw alone probably wont do much for that, it'll be to far out.
as far as what kit, its a matter of prefference, you can go with a good one that comes with needles, and a couple different size main jets, like the dynojet kits. but the factory pro kits come with needles, mains, and pilot jets. some go with kits that just use shims to adjust needle height, and come with mains and pilot jets. I personally went with the DJ kit for my ACE, and for my VLX replaced my mains and pilots with some jets I ordered from jetsrus, and shimmed the needle with 3mm stainless steel washers from the hardware store.

He just posted the item #, that should be fine for what you need. just check to see what size your stock mains are.
