Question chain adjust sticker

my 2002 600 vlx...has no chain adjustment sticker.....can someone take a pic of theres so i have an idea how many notices i have left before replacing chain....my notice is on 5 from end...and chain still needs adjusting.....look @ pic

I would not really go by those marks to determine when you should replace the chain. I switched to a 39 tooth rear sprocket on my 750 Spirit and my chain adjuster is now past the mark to replace because of the smaller sprocket.

If you have stuck links, rusty links, or any rollers that won't roll, then you should replace the chain. If the chain is properly adjusted (I use the 2 finger method on all my bike), and you can pull the chain off of the rear sprocket and see more than a 1/4 of the tooth it's time for a new chain. You should replace at least the rear sprocket at the same time.

everything is stock....chain is fine, everything looks good.....just need to adjust chain and was wondering how far was too far...since i dont have sticker....

I still wouldn't worry about the marks. You should do the link pull test. Adjust the chain tension to the factory specs, pull on a link on the rear, and see how much tooth you can see.
