Default power plug?

Thinking of installing one of those plugs in order to charge my cell which is also my GPS. How easy is this? Would I have to alter the electrical system at all to handle that?

I went to radio shack and bought the plug and inline fuze kit. Works good for long rides with pandoa banging in the headphones! It wires to ur battery and I just keep the wires under my seat.
