I'm sure I can find other places to put it as well. I have plans to add a sissy bar, so that will be it's final destination. I can lock it to the bar with it right side up, then if it rains a bit I don't have to worry about it filling up with water.

BoltLock Helmet lock, helmet locks, motorcycle helmet lock, motorcycle helmet locks

I used a bolt on the sissy bar mount plate, run cable through d-rings, and set the helmet on top of my saddlebag. Got lucky and found one on eBay for $30.00

I use a cable gun lock I got at the county fair. Cops had a booth and gave them out for free. I can lock 2 FF helmets by going thru the rings and attach to the luggage rack in the back.

Is that awfully close to the hot engine to be resting your helmet?

It actually hangs out farther from the engine than what it looks like in the pic. It rests just in front of the radiator. I haven't experimented with any other options yet, but I think I can probably find several other places to connect it.

Trust me I don't want to melt my helmet. lol. They cost WAY too much....
