I have a 2001 shadow spirit, after lots of reading I feel like I should put some highway bars on my bike, which ones do you recommend? I'm looking for the most bang for my buck of course.

mine came on the bike already. the previous owner had some (and got use out of them) so he had a second set installed.
I think he said they are Paladin (National Cycle). Some folks like the Linby Crash bars because there are built in footrests so you get crash bars and highway pegs to stretch your legs. Whatever your preference, remember the purpose is so you don't have to total the bike if it goes down. That is definitely not the time you want to know if saving a few dollars for cheaper bars was worth it or not. So i would avoid custom or low end bars. |

I added the Paladin Bar (National Cycle) to my Shadow, was pretty easy to do. They are less pronounced then some but I like the look. Hopefully they will do the job if needed.
