Default Bike stalled today

It has stalled out once or twice over the last week or so. The odd thing is that it did it while slowing down for a turn or to come to a stop while I was shifting from 4th to 3rd, or 3rd to 2nd...It went like this: Pull in clutch while rolling off the throttle, step down on shifter, let clutch out while rolling on throttle, bike has stalled.

In each case I was able to pull the clutch back in and restart the bike with no issues.

I am running with a Dynojet Stage 2 kit, c-clip on the third notch, fuel/air screw about 2 and 3/4 turns out, Thunder Air Kit, and Hard Krome K2 pipes.

FWIW, the bike did NOT do this when I first rejetted, this only started up recently.

Any ideas?

What bike and how old is it...

when you rejetted did you do it yourself..

while you had the carbs out did you fit new repair kits or just change the jets..

when you changed the fuel filter was it dirty.

John.

The bike is a 2005 Aero 750 with around 5000 miles on the clock. I rejetted myself. I did not replace anything else as the carb was clean. I did not think that the fuel filter would need changing already , so I may change that out to eliminate it as the problem.

any sudden changes in air temps over the last couple weeks?
when fully warmed up with a hot engine, when you snap the throttle do the the rpm's drop before they come back up to normal idle?
may just need to readjust the idle mixture.

Throttle set screw could be adjusted too low.

this^

I let my brother ride my vlx, he thought it idled too high, adjusted it, next day I stalled too as I was slowing to stop..Just up the idle a bit and see if this resolves it. It did for me.
