Question Requesting Suggestions...

I've been gone a while, but back again...

I'd like to start posting with a quick request for suggestions.
-----

I just purchased a 2003 ACE Touring Edition, and want to change the bars.
The existing bars are stock, and are too low and wide.

I want to get a bit higher with more pullback, maybe a combination of bar and risers to accomplish this.

I know a LOT of people have changed their bars; what would like is your input and suggestions regarding manufacturers, sizes, etc.
I do want to stay with the 1" stock, since I already have new grips, etc; and NO desire to change out any controls.

I look forward to reading your suggestions.

Thanks to all in advance!

Well before the crash I was a big fan of the $12 steel plumbing from Lowes to make straightbars/drag bars for the VT500 I had lol couldn't tell you much about other types of bar but hope you find what you're looking for

A lot of oversize diameter bars neck down where the controls mount, so you can still install your 1" grips...

yeah, you don't have to change controls or grips to use fatty bars. I have 1.25 fatty t bars with stock stuff on it.
