So I got a 79 cm185t that I turned into a bobber. The stock 185 motor was shot so I dropped an 82 cm200 motor. The issue I ran jnto was the alternator connector. Stock harness is a 6 plug and the motlr is a 4 plug. When looking at both winding the 185 has 3 leads going to the winding and the 200.has 2 leads. How can I get these to work togetjer.

I'm not positive but I think you can just hook up 2 leads and roll.
Check out Roadstercycle-Index. He has some great info about regulators and how 2 wire and 3 wire setups work.

The stator puts out AC, not DC. DO NOT tie those leads together!
The regulator/rectifier converts it to the proper voltage DC. --Justin
