Default brake buzzing sound

i bought a set off brakes at a motorcycle junk yard, they sell parts...the guy said he knew how to put them on, and helped me...he uninstalled the calipar off the bike, i told him you should not have too...but he insisted....then the spring fell out...well, after 10 minutes with the spring, he got them on......now when i apply the brakes( they work) i get a buzzing sound...the faster i go, and the more pressure i give the brakes,,the louder the buzzing sound...its not coming from the pads...but there must be something eles causing this...any ideas?

I understand your funds may be low, but I hope you didn't buy 'used' brake pads. A new set only runs about $45.
And the sound is most likely coming from your brake pads.

He probably got the retainer spring in wrong.

the buzzing sound is a normal effect of cross drilled rotors. the heat build up in the rotor causes rapid expansion of the air in the cavity and when it is uncovered by the pad it "pops" Mine has done it with every set of pads I have put on it

If your discs have groves or holes in them then the buzz is normal. I created by the air being compressed in those holes and the groves. Should only buzz when brakes ore applied.

I put EBC pads on this spring and they buzz quite a bit more than the stock ones did. btw, not sure how you would change pads without removing either the wheel or caliper.

You keep saying he thought you had to take the caliper off the bike. There might be a way to do it without taking the caliper off, but I don't know how you would take the pads out and get the pistons pushed back in while it is still on the bike. There might be a way, but its a lot easier with the caliper off the bike so I would say he did it correctly.

Agreed and I have mentioned a few times that I have swapped EBC and the Nissen (OEM Honda) pads a few times and there was significant buzz from EBC and minimal from Nissen.
