Hi all.
Were sould i look for a aftermarket tach and temp gauge for my 1985 700 C.. not that many on ebay and darn expensive.. looking for a better solution Thanks

Ok i will try motolane
The thing is there was no tach on the bike when i got it... someone had cut the wires and yanked it off

Stock tach is not very accurate, at least at lower rpms, on those years either...
I put a "good", portable tach on my bike while making adjustments recently and found when my stock tach says 1000 rpms... it's actually pulling more like 1250... surprisingly, though... at higher rpms... 3000+, it was reasonably accurate. Keep looking on eBay and check the parts/salvage places online (like MotoLane)... one will turn up and be "affordable", but rest-assured... having one is not critical to operating the bike, so you can continue to drive it just fine without one. |
