Got a NC N2230 beaded shield with mounting brackets for my 11 Aero. No matter what I do, my head feels like its in a blender over 60 mph. I've adjusted, rode, adjusted, rode, rinse, repeat with little to no change. I purchased and installed NC chrome lowers - no change. I've Googled, searched the forums, called the vendor.... Nothing. Has anyone got any ideas before I rip the darn thing off?

I assume you have tried it parallel to the forks. That seems to be the best position.
Unless you can get it higher, probably out of luck. I tried to look cool and go with a N/C Shorty at first. Expensive mistake. At highway speeds the wind hit right at my forehead and it felt like I was getting continuously slapped there on my helmet at a fast cadence. In the 18 mile commute to work or home I'd have a headache. Fortunately the Shorty is part of the Switchblade series so I was able to buy the next up, the Chopped and pop it on the quick release bracket I'd already installed. That works just fine. The wind hit just on top of the helmet so that the vent on my helmet catches some air, but I don't get the heavy buffeting. Now all I have to do is sell the Chopped shield, hopefully. If you can't get the 2230 to work, consider the N/C Switchblade series. The tallest shield there is the 2-UP. The Chopped is in the middle and about right on my 2012 Aero with Mustang seat. It's the one in my sig pic. Nice thing is I can pop it off and run naked or for ease of cleaning. More likely to pop off too if you get thrown into it. Good luck.

I have the MS Fats shield, and get some buffeting... It is air coming up from under the bike around the tank, if I cross my left arm over my shoulder and block the wind coming up, it eliminates the buffeting... I have a lightbar on mine, so I can't get the shield in behind the lights and angle it perfectly parallel to the forks, which I also think would work, as long as you create that windstream up and over your helmet, or at least so it doesn't catch the brim... I am sure it is a perfect science. I like having it on the highway, it has deflected many rocks and stones from truck tires. But recently I rode to work, and went sans shield... I do enjoy it, I do find though that the stupid little visor on my lid catches an updraft and makes it feel like the helmet strap is embedding itself into my chin!

Yup. Sometimes it comes down to just plain dumb luck.
You can make all the adjustments in the world and ultimately end up flinging the thing. I give mine about 80% effectiveness. For me that's worth having. Wouldn't think of not having it in the winter. Your mileage can and will vary.
