My son & I were on a ride in the mountains today, took a break and just as we were getting on our bikes I noticed that his radiator cover was not attached at the top. Upon closer inspection the entire radiator was not bolted to the bike at the top.
Can anyone tell me what type of bolt is used to fasten the radiator to the frame? (Now, I am assuming it is a bolt that is missing as I can not find an opening on the back side of the frame opposite from where the radiator attaches.) He has a 2002 750 Aero. Thanks!

Mine has to slots at the top that slip over two tabs sticking out from the frame, with a single 10mm head bolt (like the hundreds of other 10mm bolts on a Honda) to attach it at the bottom.
If you have two slot-shaped holes at the top center of the plastic frame, that's the way it attaches. You can also check out the online fiche exploded view for your bike at MrCycles.com |
