Lightbulb LED Turn Signals / Wiring -Help

Bike Details: 2006 VT600CD

I am in need of adding on some rear turn signals. I had my eyes set on these,Razor-Eyes. The stock ones had been removed by the previous owner who replaced the rear fender with a custom fender and only added brake/run lights.
First, will I need to buy aLoad-Equalizer to allow those lights I linked above to work? Will I need one Load-Equalizer per light or just one for the two? Is there some where I can order or find OEM wiring ends to clip right into the factory ends?

Any help is greatly appreciated. I can also take pictures if needed to aid in any suggestions.

I would just replace your stock flasher relay with an electronic version. If all you are doing is making the rear turn signals LEDs that is all you will need to do to make them flash properly.

Don't bother with a load equalizer. I've got LEDs and I use the Custom Dynamics Standard flasher.

Thumbs up

Thank you MadChemist and Canyon. Doing this on my own will be saving me about a $100.00+ that the dealership wanted to rake me over for an install.

You can also use the Tridon Electronic Flasher EP-35 or similar (found at Autozone, Advance Auto, etc. … be certain it states “LED 2-4 lamps”). Also less expensive than the Custom Dynamics unit.

(ignore my wiring in this pic ... it was a temporary work in progress)

Tridon is $33 shipped on amazon. Custom Dynamics is $21 shipped. But amazon isn't always the cheapest price on things, so it may be that you can find the Tridon cheaper in a brick & mortar store.

What?!! Holy crap! Got mine for $12.99 ... go to an auto store and look for it or a similar one.
