Hello everyone.
I need info about converting my carbyrators from 2 into 1. I own a VT1100 c2 ace '96 and I would like to know what kind of intake does it need to make that kind of convertion. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanx in advance guys.

Why ??
What do you hope to accomplish by doing that ??

If it is performance you are looking for, more carbs is usually better.

Why do you want a carburetor right where your right knee goes? Just mount an air cleaner cover, Hypercharger, on the side if you want the look.

two carbs are not necessarilly better but my reasons being that the stock setup leaves much to be desired.and just the ease of access is a great bonus as well as for my project the backbone is being converted to a sealed area for electricals why anyone else wants to convert who knows lol

When you talk about galvanized pipe you are reffering to the intake?

The reason I want to do that conversion is to save on gas, to remove the gas pump and better perfomance and off course sound of the engine. This is why I need the info.

To switch to one carb, you need a custom intake manifold, whether made from Zn coated steel or plastic. And you need a lot of testing to make sure it "flows" correctly to feed both cyls evenly, not to mention picking the right carb to provide correct CFMs for a single setup. I don't think it is as simple as switching out two 34mm carbs for one 70mm carb, for example.
I would think you need a lot of time, many prototype builds and access to a dyno and exhaust gas analyzer test rig to come up with something that is really correct...

I could be wrong

Actually, the reason I'm asking is whether I can buy that kind of intake or should I built it from scratch. As for the carb, I think it will be 48mm in order to fit.
Thank you very much for the input. Every bit of info will help me to my project. BTW, what type of bike do you have?
