I'm going to plan a Canadian 83-vt750 tour (even though I'm not Canadian)!!! I'd love to cruise around Canada!

Well it seems that I'm safe, Thanks guys. Now just to get off the flywheel (I don't have a puller) and the clutch (I don't have the "Main Shaft Holder" mentioned in the manual). Any tricks or tips? I may just stop by my local dealer and see if they're able to remove those parts... Hopefully I'll have an update for you soon!

Cheers,

K

Oh yeah, a flywheel puller. I used this guy:
Motion Pro - Flywheel Puller, M20X1.5 R.H. External Thread, Hollow

For the clutch, well this is the part where you put that piece of aluminium between the gear teeth. I've also heard of people using pennies and nickles. Take your pic, but it's much cheaper than buying a special tool. I used that method quite a few times and the gear teeth were fine.

Is it just me or is that just an M20x1.5 bolt with RH threads? I fear this may take months to reach me

So here's the other thing that I just thought of. Here in Canada, our coins are made of 90% steel or higher. If I'm correct, American coins are made of Zinc, Copper, etc, which are all softer than steel I believe. Could that cause problems? Just want to be safe...

Yeah, it's just a M20x1.5 with RH threads as you said.

I'd worry about the plating on the coins chipping off or something weird like that. Personally I'd just find a piece of scrap aluminium.
