My CDI boxes are under my seat in addition to both coils. I was tired of having them clutter up my engine bay eh.

Oh I'm not looking to get rid of them by any means! Just wondering where the other bobbers relocated theirs to since they're mounted on the rear fender and they clearly have to move somewhere else!

Main body of the cars are done and cleaned!!! Took just over a day but only cost 10 bucks to do, and they're as pretty as they were brand new! Still have small parts to clean but just wanted to show off how well pine-sol works!

Nicely done. It just feels good to see those old dirty parts recover a new life. You could also polish the bowls to give them a nice shiny look.

If your bike has a T shaped battery you can get a normal shape battery instead, and you get an extra space under the battery for the CDI. Just make extensions to the wires, or, remove the rear cables shroud to dig them out and reroute them there.

Original battery

Smaller battery

That may be a viable solution for the cdi boxes! What I need for now though is to fond someone good with wiring to go through and un-screw up the wiring as it is... It's a serious mess. I'm still finding things that weren't ever bolted down (looking at you fuel pump!) and wires that vanish somewhere into the belly o the beast. It's a nightmare I dread facing alone!

There isn't much stuff in there.
The fuel pump may be discarded if you manage to get the fuel in the carbs by gravity.
The blinkers relay may be discarded if you decide not to have blinkers. You may install led blinkers that do not require a big relay to work.
You must have the CDI because that's the only way the engine will work.
You may use air filters directly attached to the carburaters and discard the air box. That will give you a lot of space, if you have one, that is.
