yea i bought the bike used over the summer and took the seat off to check the flasher which i replaced and found that wire stuck to the seat when i pulled the seat off thx AL

Yeah you can splice it get some crimp connectors and some good 3m splice tape and wrap it good I personally would get heat shrink tubing and go that way with it. If it is the wire coming from your turn signal then you should only have 2 wires and they would connect to your main harness under your seat. If it would help in a little while I can get my seat off and post some pics of my connection for you to see. Let me know as I said before my bike is the same make and model so it might help.

that sounds good^^ cut the black sleeving open and get a better look at color of the wire and if its just a single ground wire or something. if its a ground it should be green most likely, and could be you flasher problam as well.
