Has anyone tried the eBay highway bars that I have linked below?

First it doesn't mention a manufacture. Second, none of bars looked like they had madrell bends which would have made the bends stronger. If you're buying them, for safety, I would buy name brand ones.

I think you're going to get what you pay for . . . the mounts look like they're made out of very thin metal and I'm not sure how well they would hold up if your bike tipped over. Just my thoughts . . .

My highway bars are National Cycle Paladin bars. They actually come as two separate pieces. They are not as "bulky" as some other bars which is why I purchased them. Easy to install and got them for around $200.

Bought my Cobra highway bars on ebay, was a great deal advertised that there were some minor scratches, but when they came in I couldn't find the scratches they described. One week after putting them on we hit a deer on a small road down by Luckenbach Tx, the impact I would have felt on my knee & foot was take by the "crash" bar, would highly recommend them. Now I have to figure out a way to straighten out the flat steel plate that actually bent, pushing the bar back 6 to 8 inches.
