Looks like there are missing tubes on my 1985 vt500c shadow carbs. Near the top by the vacuum rubber cover, I have vertical nipples. Looks like there was once tubes attached, there aren't now.
I attached a photo. All of the diagrams show tubes, but none of them show where they connect to. I assume they're vent tubes/overflow tubes, can anyone confirm this? one photo is my carb, one photo is a diagram. in the diagram, the nipple is where the 11/12/18 assembly connects to, but I can't figure out where they would go. vent tubes? or something waaay more important? thanks |

Disclaimer: My experience is with a 1983 VT500C so there may be differences.
There are vent tubes off the top of my carburetors that connect with a T fitting and then the line runs down the left side of the frame (front side of the battery) and ends with no connector or fitting just above the exhaust center chamber. |
