Dust seal replacement

Any tips for replacing dust seals?? Fork oil seals are fine but dust seals have deteriorated from bike being stored outside before I purchased. I've taken forks off before but I assume there is something more than simply sliding the new seal down the fork tube. Anyone want to share? I figure it can't be too complicated n

Nope , no more complicated than putting a small flat blade under the edge of the old one and popping it out and sliding the new one down the forks and pressing it in .
