Default 170/80 vs 160/80 - who has made the switch?

so who has done the rear tire change from the stock 160/80 to 170/80 on the VT750 spirit? results, complications, issues - or just plug and play no hassles or problems?

it ends up essentially making a 160/90 since it presses the tire up a bit. from what im told. im contemplating it seriously since apparantly 160/80 is tough to come by now

I've put 13k + miles on my 170/80/15 metzler with absolutly no issues. Last 1k miles have been with it lowered on 10.5" Burly Slammer shocks.

No issues almost 10k miles later on a me880 170/80 on a 07 vt750c2. When it needs replacing I will replace it with another.
