Fork extensions??

Does anyone produce fork extensions that will work on an 84 VT700c shadow??

local bike shop that might have a machinist might be the answer, specs might be a hurdle. dunno.

What would be great is a sticky that shows interchangeable trees, forks, rims, etc..
The bearing specs in the neck, rims, etc would also be helpful.
It might be possible to buy bearings with the correct outer and inner dimensions to tree/fork swaps from different makes..
I have no idea where to start looking for these specs since they are not listed in any of the manuals I have seen.

I guess I could always purchase a harley neck and fab it onto my honda frame and then have endless options for trees and forks..
