I have a stock 83' Shadow that I need a heat shield for on the left side exhaust. I keep burning my leg on the exhaust.
Anyone have a recommendation for a heat shield? I see a bunch to choose from but I'm not sure which would work best. Sent from my SPH-D710 using Motorcycle.com Free App |

I have that little waffle iron on my bike. Does nothing to stop the pipe from burning my leg.
I saw some wraps and didn't like the look. Anyone recommended an aftermarket shield? Sent from my SPH-D710 using Motorcycle.com Free App |

I have an old plastic part that I may send to you, if you're interested, as long as you're willing to pay the shipping from Portugal. You could alway try to wrap it It wont block the heat but you won't get burned. ![]() So many options...
