All good mate, I appreciate you trying to help

I'm wondering if I should just pull this damn carb out and see what it looks like inside. I will have the tools I need tomorrow to pull the spark plugs but I really do not think this is a spark issue. Really bummed my entire time off I will have only been able to ride once. I do not see how some people rely on motorcycles as a main source for transportation, they are more touchy than a woman.

Are you using the choke? Leave the throttle closed to make this choke work.

Good luck!
I've seen this happen too. Go for the jump with a good battery before tearing the bike apart...

More than likely you have crap floating around, or semi lodged in some small jet holes on the emulsion tube, main, or idle jet. If the bike was sitting for any length of time , you pretty much can be sure that's where you problem lies. Unless you good with tools, and have some small screw driver to get the jets, and tubes out, i take them to a good bike shop, and let them tear down the carb., and clean it out. You don't want to shear off any brass tubes ,or jets because their corroded in real good.
