I've seen a lot of bobbers not running a front fender. Does the fender bracket stabilize the forks or is the only purpose to support the front fender. I was thinking of losing my bracket to make room for a fatter tire but keep the fender on. I think that the tire will fit in the fender just fine but the bracket has to go. Do you think that I will have any adverse affects? Wobble? Forks moving independently of each other and busting up front fender? The bike in question is s 2002 750 ace. Just something I was thinking about while I was taking a poop last night.

Well, the part is named Fender Brace, not Fork Brace. But it would go without mentioning that it does add some support down there in the nether regions. It adds stability during cornering and braking. How much? Don't know. Do you need it? Probably. Because others remove, does that make it right for you? Don't know. The real question inquiring minds want to know is: Did you remember to flush?
