you've got a big bike and would look good with a batwing. Good wind protection too.

I've got a pretty tall National Cycle brand, I believe, on my Sabre (came with the bike). It does pretty good at keeping the wind off my face and chest, but I get quite of bit of helmet buffeting as the wind works over the top of the shield and the "wake" rides right into the top of my helmet... guess I'm just at that right height, lol... Also, it does nothing for my hands... fully exposed to the cold winds.

If I were buying a shield, especially for cooler weather, a Memphis Shades BatWing with the taller windshield and lower fairing add-on's would be my first choice... mostly because the 'wings' extend out to fully protect your hands from biting winds, and the lower fairings will shield your legs (every little bit helps)

you said "winter" (and are in NY), and did not say "cold weather".

If you had said "cold weather" it would be up to interpertation as to what you meant by that, but you said "winter" in NY, so, no real question there.

You definatly will want big fairing that covers hands and has a tall shield. So yah, a batwing, large, and tall sheild.
