what is this for?

there is a small hose going between the cylinders on the 750 engine that is held in place by 2 spring clamps. What is this hose/pipe for?

it runs coolant thru it , connectiong front and back cylinder

It's called the coolant crossover tube.

Thanks. I was kind of hoping that because i have a very slow coolant leak coming from one of the ends. It doesn't look possible to address it without removing one of the cylinders. I may end up trying to silicone the ends until I'm needing to do any major engine work. I don't want to tear the engine down just for that.

20 minute job following the sticky. No removals required. did mine 2 years ago and no leaks.
