Where does this go..........?

2004 Spirit 1100......vacuum line runs from what looks to be up under the tank,behind the battery side case down behind the left engine case towards the back. It has a T in the line with no line or cap on the T....Is there supposed to be another line off the T or just a cap? Don't have a service manual yet or I would look it up!

well i have a 1984 honda shadow and i have the same thing. I just took my carbs off and I noticed the same thing. i was sort of puzzled but i figured since its been running fine like that. its supposed to be like that. Please someone correct me if i'm wrong but thats how mine was also

You're not talking about the line that is open down on the bottom/rear of your bike do you? If so, that's a drain and it's supposed to be there. I can't remember the term for it. The burp or something? It's supposed to be open(or capped for you to empty out on occasion).

Thanks guys! Looks like an overflow for the fuel tank! Not sure why the T is in there though!

My 1990 VT1100C has a vent tube of some kind that hooks to the gas tank on the bottom. Could this be it?
