Default 09 Aero exhaust baffle removal

Ok, I've only had my bike since March. I want a slightly deeper and louder sound. My buddies keep telling me to remove my baffles. Is that a quick and cheap way to go? And how do I accomplish this? Don't know much about bikes, so would I also have to get it "jetted"? I would appreciate some help on this subject along wiith some "step by step".

Click the link, Scroll down the page and it has several ways to mod the stock exhaust.

I did the Hole Saw modification to my 2009 Honda Shadow Spirit 750. You are removing the resonator at the end of the exhaust. I purchased a two-inch hole saw from Home Depot (Milwaukee brand), sprayed a little WD-40 (not sure how much that helped) and started drilling. Because I bought a quality hole saw, it only took a minute or two to drill through and remove each resonator. I now have a deeper sound at idle and on acceleration. While cruising, the exhaust is still quiet enough that I don't have ringing ears after riding.

Here is a YouTube link for a 2007 which is just about the same as my bike.

I did the hole saw mod on my VLX and love it. Like the above said, nice rumble at idle and not so loud to hurt your ears while cruising. I past a bike other day with straight pipes. Scared the **** out of me! Didn't know what that noise was for a minute. Thought I was being run down by a dump truck or something...haha. That's just to loud.

I used a 2 1/8" hole saw and it fit perfect no dressing the edge.

Tap Magic is better for Lubing the holesaw than WD-40.

Sorry for dragging up an old post......my ACE has the two into one exhaust. Is there a post for it? I was going to take a stepped bit and make several holes in the end plate. I did this on my old Virago and it sounded great.
