highway pegs/crash bar - Honda Shadow Forums : Shadow Motorcycle Forum

i have been wanting crash bars for my motorcycle but they are pretty much non exsistant for my bike , 84 honda shadow vt500. I was wondering if any of you have put other honda crash bars on and they fit?
the ones I have in mind are

1981 1982 1983 GL1100 GOLDWING ASPENCADE ENGINE GUARD CRASH BAR HIGHWAY PEGS | eBay

or if those dont work i guess i could just go with highway pegs but these are for harley in your opinion do you think these would work?

any suggestions?

Also I measured my frame size. I measured it in 4 different spots with my caliper and its 1 1/8 inch.
From all the highway bars and pegs I fine they are either 1" or 1 1/4"

so 1 inch will be to small and 1 1/4 to big... siiiiighh

If you cant find anything in the aftermarket places, I'd give a custom shop a visit and chat with them.
