Default VT500c peg location

I have a 1985 VT500c. I have mentioned in the past how the previous owner had modified the bike prior to my owning it. I knew he moved the foot pegs forward ... I just didn't realize how much. I started looking at pictures of other vt500's and realized they were almost an entire foot forward. I REALLY like the position because I am rather tall (5'11"). The controls all work fine now. (I had to tinker with the shifter rod but it is super smooth now) Like I always say about this bike, not a pretty job, but it works and quite well

That's a very nice looking model. Oh! And the bike is very nice too.
Yeah, those pegs are way up front regarding its normal position.
But it looks like you enjoy it that way, and that's what is important.
Generally people mount some forward foot pegs to ride on the highway, but still keep the normal ones.
