Default Driver Backrest For Stock Sabre 1100?

I'm upgrading from a 2003 750 A.C.E. to a 2007 Sabre. The Sabre is pretty much stock with the stock seat and I'd like to add a backrest for me. There's already one for the passenger.

I'm having a hard time finding anything that adds a backrest for the driver and will work with the stock single piece seat.

Any ideas?

Thanks

I can't help but am in the same situation. I have a stock seat and need a drivers backrest. Any help would be good.

I have the Custom World International Rider Backrest for my Spirit 1100. It should fit the Sabre as well. Kind of pricey though.

The stock seat on the Sabre was a killer for me. I upgraded to a Mustang wide touring seat and it has made the world off difference. It was close to $400 but now I can ride for hours without a sore butt and a sore back. Worth looking into imho.

I might have to swap out the seat. Was hoping to avoid it, but ....

Default Driver Backrest For Stock Sabre 1100?

I sure would like to add a drivers backrest to my stock Sabre seat. Is there no good way besides an entire new seat?

+1 for the Protac.
I had one on the Spirit. For the money, they can't be beat.
