What type of spirit are you looking at the wheel swap on? I have an 08 with the 21" front wheel but my speed sensor is electronic in the transmission... I would think that would be the case with all of the newer bikes but I could definitely be wrong.

Joe: I have a 2006 Spirit 750 and would love the 21" front wheel, I can't believe the difference it makes in appearance. I didn't know the speedo sensor was in the transmission of the newer models, that complicates things...

Warning :I'm going off topic here now:

Vonh: nope, you're a great example. I tried it once and failed miserably. Ironically when I moved back to my home town "area", near where I went to college, I was re-united with a girl I briefly dated my last semester in college and here we are after 12 years of being happily married, most times It's a cool story, IMO

She and I dated for a few months and decided we didn't like each other much and called it quits. I graduated, moved away, got married & divorced & moved back nearer my home town. My first week back I was heading to my old Church on a Wednesday night and was thinking about a present I was given by the same very girl for graduation. She gave me my own bible (we attended a Nazarene University) with my name embossed onto it. It was still packed away in boxes from the move.

After service I was walking out after catching up with some people and there were very few cars left in the lot and low and behold, 2 rows ahead of me was parked a car with a familiar face walkign to it, it was Jamie the girl I dated in college and who gave me the bible.. I yelled over to her and said hi, we chatted and started hanging out.. From there it turned to casually dating then seriously dating to BAM, an engagement ring and plans to be made..

Our story is really like the Rascal Flatts "Bless the Broken Road" song..

Anyway, congrats on 41 years...

Here's a pic of my lovely bride and our pups.

Electronic sensor would simplify things in actuality. Front tire size won't change your speedo reading. The speed of the bike is controlled by the engine and drivetrain.. Front tire is only along for the ride. IMHO the 21" front looks good but I think it takes away from the handling. I have a friend with an 07 Vulcan 900 with I believe a 15" front tire and it seems to handle much better. Probably due to it being quite a bit wider.
