Greetings:
I was wondering if anyone can offer some assistance. I live in Long Island NY and I wanted to send out a few parts to get chromed while my bike sits up for the winter. It appears that chroming shops are banned in NY so I am forced to send out the parts. However, I prefer to drop off the parts and apply the funds I'll save on shipping to chrome additional parts. I wanted to know if someone has experience in dealing with a chrome shop near me. Also I would like some pointers on what to "look for" from a chrome shop. It seems that there are different types of techniques out there. For example, triple plating, blue chrome and the list goes on.... Thanks a million! |
