This bolt on the back right of the rear cylinder seems to be leaking oil. Any idea what that's for? Can I remove this and replace some sort of gasket to stop the leak?
That bolt and the one below about 4 inches hold the timing chain tensioner in place. They have a copper seal washer on them. You might see if you can snug it GENTLY. Or just take it out (nothing will fall off if you only take one out) and clean and add some sealer on the threads.
Yes only take out one at a time. I took my top bolt out because I was trying to figure out a clicking noise and my rear tensioner doesn't have the spring tight action the front one does and causes noises. I took the spark plug tube out and you can see the chain and get your finger on it to check for tightness, etc. But to just reseal that top bolt will cause no harm to remove it. Clean the hole and threads well with brake cleaner so any sealer you use will hold tight.
Popped it out and cleaned everything up, noticed it was fairly loose when removing. Once I put it back in and snugged it the leak seems to have subsided completely. Yet more great advice from this forum! Thanks again
