German license plate

I may be PCSing to Germany in 2018. From what I have been reading online, the German license plates are differently sized than we have here in the states. What are you guys in Germany using for a bracket? I currently have the Kuryakyn lay-flat curved holder installed, and I am not sure if it will work with a German plate.

Garage
If nothing else I think you can buy a bracket there.

Hmm, that's a good question.
I'm from germany. Mounted the license plate by drilling holes in it and screwing it to the holder with 2 screws and nuts.
Sadly my Shadow is stored in a garage located on the other end of the city during wintertimes, so I can't just measure it.

But I know, if needed, you could bend the license plate a little, drill holes to fix it in the right place, maybe even hold it in place with zip-ties, etc. As long as it doesn't fall off, noone really pays attention as long as you can read it properly.

The license plate should be lighted and visible during night-times, just for your information^^

yo

License-plates have different sizes, but the typical one is 18x20cm.
There are certain licenseplate-holders like these http://www.alphatechnik.de/typo3temp...d7eecbe6ba.jpg
